The Rules:
- Entrants must be between the ages of 12 and 18.
- A photo release form signed by a parent or legal guardian must be submitted for any minors shown in the film. Ask a librarian for the form.
- To film on Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, please contact the branch manager at the desired location or call Karen Brooks-Reese, Teen Services Coordinator, at 412-578-2599.
- Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will not accept any video that include dangerous stunts, offensive language, or inappropriate behavior.
- All entries must be the original work of the teen participant and must not contain any copyright violations.
- CLP staff will review all entries and select the five finalists. Finalists' video may be posted to the CLP website for review by Library customers.
- The Library reserves the right to select fewer than five winners or to not post all finalists' videos to the website.
- Winners will be announced on August 15, 2008 at a special screening and reception. Finalists will be notified in advance.
How to Enter:
- Save your video as a .WMV, .AVI or .MPG file. For best results, convert to MPEG4 video with MP3 audio.
- Email your video to clpquickflix@gmail.com, or mail on a CD or DVD to the Teen Services Coordinator at the address below.
- Include the following in the body of your email:
- Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Library Card Number
- Video Title
- Brief Synopsis of Video
- Mail copies of the completed Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Photo Release Form to:

- All of the above must be included. If we do not have all of the information we need, we will not be able to select your video as a winner!
