of Fire: The Life and Pottery of Margaret Tafoya
Through January 4, 2009. Considered
a master of her art, Margaret Tafoya was the last of the matriarchs of
the early 20th century pueblo potters. This exhibition is her first
on the east coast.

mummy, dating to between 304–250 BC,
underwent modern imaging techniques to reveal secrets of the child's life

Browne: Charles Darwin 200th Birthday Lecture
Friday, February 9. In
Collaboration with the Drue Heinz Lecture Series. Janet Browne's
lecture honors the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary
of the publication of The Origin of Species. Browne spent 17
years editing Darwin's correspondence, and her work integrates Darwin’s
science with his life and times.
